May 2013: Just returned from RT Booklovers Convention in Kansas City, and it was fantastic! I co-hosted the Intergalactic Bar & Grille Party with Linnea Sinclair, PJ Schnyder, and more! Then, I co-hosted the Carnival Curiosities with Beth Ciotta, Heather Graham, Elle J Rossi, Erin McCarthy, Kathy Love, Alexandra Sokoloff, Kathleen Pickering, and Harley Jane Kozak. Both parties were a wild time and many, many books were given away! Even with all the fabulous parties and interviews I did, my con highlight was meeting F. Paul Wilson and talking about writing, airplanes, and other things. He's a brilliant man and an incredible writer.
For other news, since May is Zombie Awareness Month, I posted the first part of my upcoming zombie novel, 100 Days in Deadland, to my website and Wattpad early! A new part will be released every week or so until all nine parts are online. The novel will be released August 1 in ebook everywhere. This is my first non-romance novel, and I've made the decision to publish it under my real name (Rachel Aukes) so that readers will always know that Berinn Rae novels are romance.
Have a great month!

April 2013: Welcome spring!!  I have exciting news! 100 Days in Deadland, a remake of Dante's Divine Comedy (zombie apocalypse style!) has a release date! It comes out as ebook everywhere on August 1, 2013. But wait, that's not all! Beginning Monday, May 6, you can read the novel for FREE on my website and on Wattpad. Every Monday, a new part (~50 pages) will be posted, until all nine parts are available to read. Then, on August 1, you can add the entire novel (with bonus content!) to your library. I can't share the cover yet... that happens on Monday, April 29, by Ashley on Support Indie Authors and Grace on Books of Love.
In other news, I'll be in Kansas City at the RT Booklover's Convention the first week of May. I'm co-hosting two events. On Wednesday, I'll be at the Intergalactic Bar & Grille Party with Linnea Sinclair, Cat Adams, and other incredible SFR authors. On Saturday, I'll be at the Carnival of Curiosities with Beth Ciotta, Heather Graham, Erin McCarthy, Kathy Love, Elle Rossi, and more. Hope to see you there!
March 2013: Whew, what a busy start to 2013! Explosion, the final book in the Colliding Worlds trilogy, is now on my editor's desk at Crimson Romance. Implosion (book 2) comes out March 11 as ebook everywhere. I also have a short (dystopian sci-fi rom) in an upcoming anthology showcasing a wide range of fabulous sci-fi romance authors out there. A release date hasn't been set yet, but I'll keep you posted. Next up, I'm going to write a full-length zombie novel simply because I love zombie thrillers and finally accepted the fact that I must take the time to write at least one myself. Its working title is Zombie Playground, and it will be my first book without romance. The story is still being fleshed out (lame pun intended, heh heh), and I'll keep you posted. If you favorite zombie books to share, I'd love to add to my to-be-read pile, so let me know your favorites via Twitter (@BerinnRae) or Facebook!  Have a great month!

December 2012: Implosion (book 2 in the Colliding Worlds trilogy) is now on my editor's desk at Crimson Romance, and now I'm starting Explosion, the final book in the alien romance trilogy, which is due to my editor March 1. Needless to say, between the writing deadlines and the day job, my online presence has been taking a hiatus (and will through February). I miss visiting on Facebook and Twitter and look forward to catching up with you soon. Have a wonderful holiday season!!
October 2012: I've been hiding out for some time with my deadlines for the next two books in the Colliding Worlds trilogy (which, by the way, Implosion and Explosion are coming along great!). September was also the month of fly-ins and air shows (I fly when I'm not writing, really!), with every weekend booked. Now that the leaves are turning color, I'm looking forward to some free weekends to write like a mad woman!  Oh, with the exception of one weekend at the end of October, where I've been invited to join the Wonder of Words literary festival in Des Moines, Iowa (squee!!). Annnd one more thing... Elle J Rossi just designed the poster for the panel I'm on at next year's RT conference (which is going to be a blast!). Click on the thumbnail to see how awesome she did! Have a colorful fall!

August 2012: Whew! After a whirlwind July with 2 releases, this month is focused on getting back to the keyboard. And I have awesome news to share! First, I've signed the rest of the Colliding Worlds trilogy with Crimson Romance. Implosion (book 2) will be an early 2013 release and Explosion (book 3) will a mid 2013 release (note: titles and release dates are tentative). In other exciting news, The Des Moines Register is doing both a video interview and an article on my writing and flying passions as an Iowa Life spotlight on Sunday, August 19. The interview and the photo shoot were a blast. Here's the link! Have a great August, readers!

July 2012: What a month! Stealing Fate comes out July 24. It's a novella in the Unspun anthology, starring a Greek Fate and the god of terror. On July 30, Collision, the first book in the Colliding Worlds trilogy, comes out. This trilogy is Sci Fi with romantic elements, with each book starring a different extraordinary women in an intergalactic war that has just come to earth. Sienna Wolfe, a human, stars in the first book. To the right is the cover for Collision! This month, I'm writing Implosion, the second book in the Colliding Worlds trilogy, which stars Nalea, a strong Sephian woman with plenty of secrets of her own. My hands are pretty full with this trilogy, so I'll only check in on Twitter and Facebook about once a day. Have a great month!

June 2012: Welcome to summer! This month, I'm busy wrapping up edits on Stealing Fate (a novella on one of the Greek Fates), which comes out July 24, and Collision (book 1 in the Colliding Worlds trilogy), which comes out July 30 from Crimson Romance. After that, I'll be working on the next book in the Colliding Worlds trilogy (alien romance), tentatively called Implosion. I've put Rafe's story in the Guardians of the Seven Seals series on hold temporarily so I can first wrap up the trilogy this summer. Rest assured, Rafe will get his story!
In other news, I just committed to attending RT 2013 in Kansas City, MO (May 1-5, 2013). There, I'll be co-hosting a readers' "carnival" event with friends Beth Ciotta, Heather Graham, Traci Hall, Kathy Love, Erin McCarthy, and Elle J Rossi. I can guarantee it's going to be a fun event for everyone who attends!
May 2012: Allow me a squee moment... squeeee! I just signed with Crimson Romance, the newest imprint of Adams Media! They're going to publish Collision, the first book in the Colliding Worlds trilogy. The trilogy is about an alien war that has just come to earth. Oh, and did I mention that these were really sexy aliens? {blushes}
~ In other news, the launch month for Hellbound has wrapped up with one final giveaway at GoodReads, where over 500 readers entered for a chance to win a copy. {big hugs to all readers!} While there still are some online glitches (e.g., blurb and cover not showing for the paperback) my publisher is still working out, I hope everything will be right as rain in no time.
~ What I'm working on this month? I'm putting the final polish on Stealing Fate, which comes out July 24. And then it's off to storyboard the next novel in the Guardians of the Seven Seals series, where dark Rafe gets his story.
April 2012: It's a HUGE month! For starters, I'll be at the RT Booklover's Convention in Chicago April 10-15. I'll be signing on both Thursday and Saturday, will be a hostess at the Fan-tastic Party, and am scheduled at the Con Suite a couple days. If you're going, please introduce yourself - I'd love to meet you!
~ Hellbound has been unleashed! It's now available in all eBook formats and trade paperback everywhere. You can order it online or through your local bookstore. Throughout April, there will be all kinds of fun: Hellbound giveaways, contests, interviews, you name it! To stay up to date, all giveaways will be posted on my website, on facebook, and on twitter.
~ Also, the cover for Stealing Fate has been revealed. This e-novella on one of the Greek Fates comes out July 24 and is part of a 3-novella anthology with two other authors. It's a self-publishing partnership, and my first foray into the self-publishing world. It has given me a whole new appreciation for publishers - from cover design to lining up professional editors, there's a lot of work involved to have a professional-quality self-published story. Next month I'll reach out for reviewers - if you're interested in getting an eARC, just drop me an email.

March 2012: Hellbound comes out this month (March 27)! Doing the happy dance! Also this month... I'm busy writing Stealing Fate, a standalone novella in the Unspun anthology, which is a partnership with two other authors - Rachel Firasek and Elle J Rossi. I've already seen the incredible cover art done by EJR Digital Art and can't wait to share it. April 2 will be the big cover reveal for all three covers and also the day pre-buy options for the trilogy open on Amazon. Stealing Fate comes out July 24. As for the other two books in the trilogy, Creating Fate comes out July 10, and Chasing Fate comes out August 7.
February 2012: I just signed up to write a novella for an exciting anthology with two incredible authors. The anthology covers untold legends of a trio of infamous Greek goddesses. And, I just previewed the cover for Hellbound, the second book in the Guardians of the Seven Seals series, which comes out March 27. I'll be scheduling a blog tour and requesting book reviews this month.
January 2012:  Knightfall is a finalist for an 2011 EPIC eBook Awards for best fantasy romance. I'm so excited! And I turned in final edits on Hellbound, the second book in the Guardians of the Seven Seals series.
